One day when we were visiting, making trips to the nursing home, hospital, and who knows where else, our aunt Lori was kind enough to make us a delicious dinner at her house. Luckily, we got there with a little bit of daylight left, which allowed Michael to explore the farm a little bit. Bobby has all sorts of big farm equipment, and Michael LOVED checking them all out. He would run from one to the other, pointing in excitement to each one. Luckily, we got some good pictures of the experience.
While we were out, we ventured over to there HUGE wheat pile they had recently harvested. Michael played at the bottom, but didn't get too far. Hopefully we didn't make too much of a mess of their pile!
The boys give you a good idea of the massive size of the pile.
But, as always, we had to call it quits early. Even with gloves and hats, it was just toooooooo cold. Who's surprised?
How fun! Things like that make me wish we lived on a farm. Minus the early morning milkings and all the other hard work. Okay, maybe I don't want to live on a farm, but it would be nice if some relatives did...
