A Weekend With A Good Friend

My good friend from college, Maria, decided to come visit this weekend before we moved. She has a daughter, Elizabeth, who is 2 weeks younger than Michael, so it is always fun watching them play 'together'. Although they weren't here long, we made the most of our time and packed our Saturday full of fun activities. We got up at a semi-decent hour and hit the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery in the morning. I can't believe that I've lived here a year and this is the first time I am going here! Although it wasn't the biggest museum in the world, it had tons of hands-on things the kids could participate in. They even got to play at the animal hospital and pretend to be vets! (Well, we dressed them up while they played with stuffed animals.) :) In the afternoon, we hit the community pool and had a blast. Here's just a few pics of our fun day.
